Getting a little help from your friends Most of us know lots of people - friends, relations, acquaintances, that guy you met at Fred's party... And people, in these hard times, are more likely to help one another than not if they don't have to suffer for it. You'd help, wouldn't you, if you didn't have to do too much?

actively go out to meet people you know & talk about this

Know what to ask Whatever you do, don't ask people to "gissa job". They probably don't have one to give and it will embarrass them to have to say so. On the other hand, do ask people for their advice ...
